BAC HOLDS TALKSHOW ON IDENTIFYING COMMUNITY PRIORITIES FOR DEVELOPMENT

As part of the ongoing project aimed at enhancing transparency, citizen participation, and access to local government, a radio talk show took place on Wednesday. The show featured Honourable Bubacarr Jaiteh from Bijilo Ward and Honorable Modou Kanteh from Wellingara Ward.

The discussion focused on how councillors identify community priorities, the use and accountability of Ward Development Funds, and the role of Village Development Committees (VDCs) and Ward Development Committees (WDCs) in promoting inclusive decision-making and grassroots participation in local governance.
